Dhampus besides being very close to Pokhara still retains much of its traditional culture and appearances. Stone paved trails with the thatched roofed stone house along its both sides provide magnificent view of the typical village setup. It is an attractive destination area from the natural and cultural point of view. The village is full of excellent viewpoint that provide the panoramic view of Annapurna Range especially Mt. Fishtail (7993m) Mt. Annapurna I ( 8091 m) Mt. Dhaulagiri ( 8167 m) Lamjung Himal ( 6983 m). It takes one full day to wander around the village.
