Depending on your arrival time, you may explore the nearby streets, local markets, and experience the unique atmosphere of Nepal’s capital. In the evening, you will attend a trek briefing where your guide will provide important information about the Everest Base Camp Trek, check your equipment, and answer any questions. This day is mainly for preparation and relaxation before your Himalayan adventure begins. Overnight stay at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 2: flight  to lukla & trek to Padking( 4h /2610m/8695ft)
Early in the morning, we take a scenic 30-minute flight to Lukla, the gateway to the Everest region. Upon arrival, we meet our porter and begin our trek, descending to Chaurikharka and further to Thadokoshi, where you may enjoy views of the surrounding mountains. We then ascend uphill to Ghat, passing a ridge marked with painted mani stones, and after roughly an hour of trekking, reach Phakding, where we stay overnight in a cozy tea house, resting for the next stage of our journey.

Day 3:Phakding to Namche Bazar(7h/3450m/11290ft)
After breakfast, we begin our scenic trek following the beautiful Dudh Koshi River, enjoying the refreshing mountain air as the trail winds through pine and rhododendron forests. The sound of the rushing river accompanies us as we cross several thrilling suspension bridges decorated with colorful prayer flags and pass through small traditional Sherpa villages with stone houses, prayer wheels, and mani walls. Soon we reach Monjo, the entrance to Sagarmatha National Park, where our permits are checked before we officially enter this UNESCO World Heritage Site. The path continues with gentle ups and downs through forested terrain until we arrive at Jorsalle, the last village before Namche Bazaar, where we can take a short rest or enjoy tea while preparing for the climb ahead. From Jorsalle, the trail follows the river to the dramatic high suspension bridge at the confluence of the Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi rivers; standing on this bridge is an unforgettable experience, and on a clear day we may catch our first breathtaking glimpse of Mount Everest, along with surrounding Himalayan giants, a magical moment that fills us with excitement. After crossing the bridge, the trail begins a long and steady uphill ascent through dense pine forest, requiring a slow and steady pace as we gain significant altitude; along the way, the views gradually open up, revealing spectacular mountain scenery behind us. After approximately 5–6 hours of trekking, we finally reach Namche Bazaar (3,440 m), the largest Sherpa settlement and vibrant commercial hub of the Khumbu region, beautifully set in a natural amphitheater surrounded by towering peaks. Namche offers a surprising range of facilities including good restaurants, bakeries, trekking gear shops, internet cafés, ATMs, and money exchange services. In the evening, we relax and explore the lively market area before enjoying a warm meal and an overnight stay at a comfortable tea house.

Day 10: Morning Hike to Kala Patthar, Descent to Gorak Shep & Shared Helicopter Flight to Lukla
Today, we hike to Kala Patthar, the highest point of the Everest Base Camp Trek. We start early in the morning to enjoy a spectacular sunrise over the majestic Himalayan peaks. From Kala Patthar, you can admire breathtaking views of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Pumori, and the surrounding mountains. After enjoying the panoramic views, we descend to Gorak Shep for breakfast. From there, we take a shared helicopter flight to Lukla. Please note that the helicopter flight is shared, not a private charter. If you prefer a private helicopter flight, please contact us for the additional cost. Due to aviation limitations at high altitudes above 4,500 meters, helicopters can land at Gorak Shep but can take off with a maximum of three passengers at a time. If there are more than three passengers, the helicopter will first take three passengers from Gorak Shep and drop them at a designated location below 4,500 meters, usually Pheriche. The helicopter will then return to Gorak Shep to pick up the remaining passengers. After collecting the first group from the designated location, it will continue to Lukla with everyone together. The helicopter flight from Gorak Shep to Lukla takes approximately 15–20 minutes, depending on weather conditions and the number of passengers.

🏁 Ending Point

Lukla (2800m)

⚠️ Important Note

The shared helicopter service is subject to weather conditions, passenger availability, and Civil Aviation Authority regulations. During peak trekking seasons, short waiting times or shuttle transfers may be required due to helicopter weight restrictions at high altitude. We recommend keeping your travel schedule flexible, as mountain weather can occasionally cause delays or rescheduling.
Day 11: Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu or Manthali (Ramechhap) and Transfer to Kathmandu
Lukla to Manthali Flight (March, April, May, September, October & November) During the peak trekking seasons, flights from Lukla usually operate to Manthali (Ramechhap) Airport. The flight takes approximately 20 minutes, followed by a 5–6 hour drive to Kathmandu. Driving time may vary depending on road and traffic conditions. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your hotel by a shared tourist vehicle. Lukla to Kathmandu Flight (January, February, June, July, August & December) During the remaining months, flights generally operate directly from Lukla to Kathmandu and take approximately 35 minutes. After landing in Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your hotel by a shared tourist vehicle. Please note that flight schedules and destinations are determined by the airlines and aviation authorities and may change depending on weather conditions and seasonal air traffic. 🚁 Helicopter Upgrade (Optional) For added comfort and convenience, you can upgrade to a direct shared helicopter flight from Lukla to Kathmandu for an additional USD 450 per person (based on a minimum of 5 passengers sharing). This is the best option to avoid the long drive from Manthali to Kathmandu during the peak trekking seasons (March, April, May, September, October, and November). If you have extra time in Nepal, we also offer exciting tours to Pokhara, Chitwan National Park, Kathmandu Valley, and many other destinations. We also organize outbound tours to Tibet, India, and Bhutan. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner at a traditional Nepali restaurant to celebrate the successful completion of your Everest adventure.
